A Glimpse of New Orleans

New Orleans is a city unlike any I have been to. It has the beauty of both old and new architecture with the most interesting of people. I see several more visits into the city during our time here in Louisiana.

Biked the streets and parks of NOLA

The Camilla Grille
Several people from Louisiana recommended this locally-owned diner to us so we had to try it out

Oldest continuously operated street railway line in the world
A little random but I really liked it
It added to the old feel of the town

Beads hanging in the trees
Remnants of Mardi Gras

Parks, monuments, palm trees, and the contrast of new and old buildings

 BOURBON STREET

So many interesting characters...

Saba does Louisiana

Cafe du Monde
I am told this should be on everyone's NOLA bucket list
Don't have to tell me twice

Mississippi River was a little smaller and dirtier than we expected...

St. Louis Cathedral

The birthplace of jazz music

Frenchmen St aka Bourbon St #2
